| Description | It would be really, really nice to be able to click a cell/point and immediately get that data into the spreadsheet view - including point locations at the currently animated time step. Using the Extract Selection filter is not any where near a one click solution. This is often done dozens of times. | ||||||||

After writing this feature request, I started playing with the probe filter. This is what I mean, if you didn't need to hit accept between picks. This is close enough that I am changing priority to normal, however. |

So, what I want is an Auto Accept button, that only lasts for the life of this filter, on the Probe filter properties panel. |

On the display tab (when the spreadsheet view is active) check "Show only selected elements". Then there's no need to create extract selection filter. Simply selecting a different cell (or point) will result in showing only the selected cell/point data in the spreadsheet view. |

Last note is correct. Effectively, this was lack of training on the part of the user (me). |
